Updated - Hackney residents get early access to more Olympic test events

To include detail of Paralympic athletics

Tickets to five London Prepares International test events will be available to Olympic host borough residents from 13 March, two days before they go on general sale.

Hundreds of Hackney residents saw Sir Chris Hoy win gold at last month s UCI Track Cycling event at the Olympic Velodrome. This time around it s hockey, wheelchair tennis, Paralympic athletics and water polo events as well as a final chance for sycronised swimmers to qualify for London 2012.

Mayor of Hackney Jules Pipe said:

"This early release of tickets means that host borough residents get access before anyone else to see top Olympic athletes compete and to gain access to the Olympic Park just weeks before the Games begin."

Advance booking opens at 9am on 13 March and general sale opens at 10am on 15 March.

Test event tickets will be available at www.ticketmaster.co.uk/londonpreparesseries. Hackney residents will be asked for the following access code - HACKNEYPREPARES

The FINA Olympic Games Synchronised Swimming Qualification takes place at the Aquatics Centre in the Olympic Park from 18–22 April 2012.

The Visa International Invitational Hockey Tournament takes place at the Riverbank Arena in the Olympic Park from 2–6 May 2012.

The Visa Water Polo International takes place at the Water Polo Arena in the Olympic Park from 3–6 May 2012.

The Eton Manor Wheelchair Tennis International takes place at Eton Manor in the Olympic Park on 5 May 2012.

The Visa London Disability Athletics Challenge takes place at the Olympic Stadium on 8 May 2012.
