Zoë Garbett is the new Mayor of Hackney
The Green Party candidate is elected with 46.9% of the vote.
Zoë Garbett has been elected as the new Mayor of Hackney following yesterday’s Mayoral election.
The Green Party candidate received 35,270 votes out of a total of 76,187, with a 40.98% turnout.
She becomes Hackney’s first Green Party mayor.
