The Mayor of Hackney's diary is now online for the first time
Zoë Garbett is the first Mayor of Hackney to publish a public diary record.
The diary of the Mayor of Hackney is now available to view online as part of a commitment to bringing greater openness and transparency to the council.
This online diary will be published every three months, including all formal external meetings and engagements related to official Mayoral duties.
The move delivers on one of Mayor Zoë Garbett’s manifesto commitments upon being elected in May 2026.
"Across all forms of government, too much decision-making happens behind closed doors, where the influence of unaccountable lobbyists and interest groups is unseen.
“I want Hackney to be different.
“That’s why I’m the first Mayor of Hackney to publish a public diary record, so that people in the borough can see who I’m meeting and hold me to account.”
Zoë Garbett, Mayor of Hackney
