Summer Activities Guide 2025

Free summer guide for young people in Hackney returns

Young Hackney's Summer Activities Guide returns this summer, with free activities for young people throughout July & August.

Young Hackney’s Summer Activities Guide returns this summer, with dozens of free and low-cost activities for young people up to 19 years old (or 25 with a special educational need and/or disability).

The guide is packed with activities happening throughout July and August - including ice-skating, boxing, paddle boarding, cycling trips, animation, kayaking, carnival arts, film-making workshops, dance classes, sports camps and so much more.

This year, Young Hackney is doing the guide a little differently, and it will now be available exclusively online. You can find the full guide here.

“We hope our children and young people have a well-deserved break, as school term ends for the summer. We want to make sure they have plenty of local activities to enjoy, so they can unwind, relax, and most importantly, have fun. Our free Summer Activities Guide is the perfect way to start planning a restful and memorable summer break.”
