The Labour Party has retained control of Hackney Council, with 50 Labour councillors across 21 wards, following local elections which took place across Hackney yesterday.

The Conservative Party retained five council seats in Stamford Hill and Springfield wards, with the Green Party securing two council seats overall - in Dalston and Hackney Downs wards.
