Join Hackney's Housing Repairs Service - jobs now open
As part of a £1 million investment in Hackney’s Housing Repairs Service, the Council is growing its trade team to enable the delivery of an improved repairs service for Council tenants.
Housing Services are looking for 28 motivated and aspirational people with a ‘can do attitude’ to join the team.
The first phase of recruitment is now open with wages up to £46,989, for Carpenters, Labourers, Drivers, Gas Engineers, Plumbers and Team Supervisors.
These permanent positions are all full time, working 36 hours per week. In addition to the salary, successful candidates will also be able to sign-up to the Council’s pension scheme, and receive a generous holiday allowance – 27 days a year, rising to 32 after five years service.
