Have your say on the future of health in Hackney

The Healthier City and Hackney Fund is one of the biggest health innovation funds in the country

Hackney’s Health and Wellbeing Board will be carrying out a survey with residents and wider stakeholders across the borough between November 2021 and February 2022.

The survey will help gather views on a new strategy which aims to take action across three important areas that affect people’s health and wellbeing. These include improving mental health, increasing social connection and supporting greater financial security.

The survey seeks to inform actions across these three areas as part of a strategy that will help to prevent and reduce health inequalities including the avoidable and unfair differences in health between different groups and communities.

Cllr Chris Kennedy, Cabinet Member for Health, Adult Social Care and Leisure
The new Health and Wellbeing Strategy is a great opportunity to focus on three things that could make a huge difference to people and their health in Hackney - mental health, social connection and financial security.

We want everyone in Hackney to be able to be as happy and healthy as possible. We look forward to working with local people to shape our Health and Wellbeing Strategy and ensure it makes positive changes to the lives of our residents. I would encourage as many people as possible to participate.
