Have your say - Tell us what you think of Hackney’s housing service

Woodberry Down funday

Tenants, leaseholders and freeholders in Hackney are being encouraged to share how they feel about various services that they receive, through the Council’s latest resident satisfaction survey.

Alongside providing residents with the opportunity to share their thoughts on Council services, the wide-ranging questionnaire will also show how residents can get involved in future consultations.

The results will tell the Council what residents think it’s doing well and, equally, where the Council needs to make changes.

The survey was carried out in 2016, 2017 and 2019, and it is now a regulatory requirement for the Council to carry this out every year.

Texts and emails are currently being sent to Council tenants, leaseholders and freeholders in the Council’s mailing list with a link to the survey, and surveys will be posted to everyone who lives in Council homes and estates from 12 July. Residents are being asked to look out for these surveys and to complete them and return them for free to have their say on Housing Services.

Cllr Clayeon McKenzie, Cabinet Member for Housing Services
We want our tenants, leaseholders and freeholders to be at the forefront of shaping the services that we deliver to them, and this survey is a great opportunity for you to do just that.

By taking part in this survey, you’ll help us understand where we need to focus our energies to ensure that we’re delivering the best possible services for you and your neighbours.
Cllr Clayeon McKenzie, Cabinet Member for Housing Services

The results will be gathered and analysed by an independent research company and published later this year. Residents can also take part online by using the link and their unique ID number on their survey papers.

Residents who’ve misplaced their survey can request a new survey and ID by calling Kwest Research Ltd. on freephone 0800-634-8260.
