Family fun at the Hoxton Market summer fair

Hoxton Market

Hoxton Market will be holding a sizzling summer fair on June 23, with loads of free events planned, including a live broadcast and music from Hoxton Radio.

The fair will play host to a wide array of street food including international and vegan stalls. As well as tasting some of the best market food in Hackney, visitors on the day can peruse a wide range of stalls from fresh fruit and veg to the latest fashions. Alongside more established market traders there will also be stalls from the teenage market, a scheme that aims to help young entrepreneurs develop their business skills.

There will be lots to do for families on the day, with a takeover at one end of the market by the Balanceability play road and Hackney Play Bus, alongside arts, crafts and face painting.

Hoxton market has really worked hard to put itself back on London's street market map and what better way to celebrate Hackney's oldest street market's renaissance than by joining in on the 23 June and spending some time enjoying the market and all it has to offer. The summer fair will have something for everyone, so once you've been round the market get in line to have your face painted, enjoy the live music or go to the 'all grown ups banned' kids party in the magnificent Hackney Playbus!
