Refuse and recycling collection services over the festive season
During the Christmas and New Year holidays there will be no changes to recycling collection days in Hackney, but there will be some changes to refuse collection days over this period.
Refuse collections scheduled to take place between Monday 26 December and Friday 6 January will all be collected a day after their normal service.
That means if your waste is normally collected on a Monday it will be picked up on Tuesday 27 December and Tuesday 3 January. Similarly, if it is normally collected on a Friday it will be revised to Saturday 31 December and 7 January.
Refuse collections return to normal on Monday 9 January 2012.
