Volunteers wanted for Black History Month’s inspiring Young Hackney event

Enthusiastic male volunteers from across all Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities are needed to take part in an inspirational career event aimed at the next generation of Hackney’s young men, as part of celebrations for Black History Month in October.

If you live, work, have attended school or have a life connection with Hackney, then you are eligible to apply. The ideal candidate will have an interesting career story to share with young people, from overcoming adversity, starting up a business, to working in the creative industries or any social care setting, if you have an inspirational story then apply now to become a volunteer.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 25 September.
