Hackney local elections 2021: results

Londoners went to the polls yesterday (Thursday, 6 May) to vote for their Mayor of London and representatives on the London Assembly.

And thousands of Hackney residents also cast their votes in by-elections in four wards in Hackney. These local elections were held in: Hoxton East & Shoreditch; King's Park; Stamford Hill West; and Woodberry Down wards.

The results are:

  • Hoxton East & Shoreditch - Labour (held)

Anya Josephine Sizer, of the Labour and Co-operative Party, has been elected to Hoxton East and Shoreditch ward, with 1,504 votes.

  • King’s Park - Labour (held)

Lynne Joan Troughton, of the Labour and Co-operative Party, has been elected to King’s Park ward, with 2,484 votes.

  • Stamford Hill West - Conservative (held)

Stephen (Hershy) Lisser, of the Conservative Party, has been elected to Stamford Hill West ward, with 1,456 votes.

  • Woodberry Down - Labour (held)

Sarah Joanna Young, of the Labour Party, has been elected to Woodberry Down ward, with 1,680 votes.
