Are you a voluntary or community group in need of finanical help?
Are you a charity or community group that wants to know more about how Hackney Council might be able to help you financially?
Find out all about the Hackney Voluntary and Community Sector Grant Programme for 2015/16 at a special event on Thursday, 3 July.
Groups can find out about the different grants available and how to apply when the programme opens for applications on 10 July.
The session will also provide an update on the ongoing work between the Council and the Voluntary and Community Sector.
Attendees will hear from Cllr Jonathan McShane, Cabinet Member for Health, Social Care and Culture, and Jake Ferguson, Chief Executive Officer of Hackney Council for Voluntary Services on how the partnership supports local people.
We are delighted to have a grants programme which supports local voluntary and community groups to deliver projects and events which benefit Hackney residents.
Come to the event to find out about how the Council is working with the Voluntary and Community Sector and next year’s grants programme which includes grants ranging from £1,000 for small community events to grants of up to £40,000 for larger projects.
I would like to thank our Voluntary and Community Sector partners for all of the work that they do to bring people in Hackney together.
The session will be held between 10am and 12.30pm at the Assembly Rooms, Hackney Town Hall, Mare Street, (please use the Reading Lane entrance).
