Speaker of Hackney, Cllr Susan Fajana-Thomas will be in fine voice on the evening of December 14, when she hosts carol singing at Hackney Town Hall.

The evening session will take place from 5.15pm – 5.45pm on the steps of the Town Hall on Mare Street. Anyone that wishes join in the festive activity is welcome to attend. After the concert the Speaker will make her way to the Chapel at St Joseph s Hospice to host a carol service from 6pm to 7pm, which will be followed by festive refreshments.

Cllr Fajana-Thomas said: "Nothing gets people in the mood for the festive season more than a good singalong. So if you happen to be passing the Town Hall on your way home from work, or you are doing a bit of Christmas shopping in the area, why not join in the fun!"
