During the Christmas and New Year holidays there will be some changes to refuse and recycling collection days.

Christmas Eve
A normal service for recycling and waste collections will operate on Christmas Eve (Wednesday 24 December).

Christmas Day
Christmas day falls on a Thursday this year. That means that if your recycling is normally collected on Thursday, it will be picked up on Friday 26 December instead of the 25th. If your waste collection is normally on Thursday, it will be collected on Saturday 27 December instead.

Boxing Day
If your normal recycling day is Friday, it will be collected on Saturday 27 December instead of the 26th. If your refuse is normally collected on a Friday, it will be picked up on Sunday 28 December instead.

If your normal refuse collection day is due to be Saturday 27 December, it will be collected on Saturday 27 or Sunday 28.

A normal service will operate for both recycling and refuse collections between Monday 29 and Wednesday 31 December.

New Years Day
New Years Day falls on a Thursday. Therefore recycling and waste collections will be made on Friday 2 January.

Collections for both refuse and recycling due to take place on Friday 2 January will be made on Saturday 3 January instead.

Refuse normally collected on Saturday, will either be picked up on Saturday or Sunday.

Monday 5 January
Normal services resume for recycle and refuse collections
