Book place on free food safety workshop
Those working in Turkish and Kurdish run cafes, restaurants and fast food businesses in Hackney are being encouraged to take part in a free ‘Safer Food, Better Business’ workshop. It will be held at City Edge, 125-126 Mare Street from 12pm until 3.30pm on Friday 27 June 2008.
The workshop is designed to help Turkish speaking people, working in small and medium sized food businesses comply with food safety regulations, such as having a written food safety management system in place. A helpful information pack will be available at the workshop, as well as the opportunity to book further coaching sessions.
The workshop will be run by Hackney Council’s Environmental Health team and is funded by the Food Standards Agency.
