Sadly Bob and Dylan, the goats in Clissold Park, have been suffering from pain caused by arthritis. Following advice from our vet this was being treated by weekly injections over the past six months. However, over recent weeks their condition had deteriorated, with the goats suffering from decreased mobility and pain which was no longer humanely treatable. Therefore last week the vet had to put the goats to sleep. The dearly loved Anglo-Nubian goats will be much missed by park staff and residents alike.
