A new building for Ickburgh School

As part of the Council s Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme, work on providing a new building for Ickburgh Special School is now underway. The new building will be located on Kenworthy Road, on the site currently occupied by Cardinal Pole School. The staff and pupils from Cardinal Pole are due to move into their new building on Morning Lane over this summer.

The Council along with the Local Education Partnership (LEP), their design team and appointed contractor will be having a drop in event at Cardinal Pole School from 6.00 to 8.00pm on Wednesday 11 Apri for anyone interested in the proposed location and likely size of the new building. There will also be an opportunity to ask about the building and construction period as well as asking general questions about the project.

Entry is via the main school entrance on Kenworthy Rd from 6.00pm, local residents and businesses interested in the new building are especially welcome.
