Cllr Jonathan McShane, Cabinet Member for Health, Social Care and Culture, Hackney Council
We’ve had a great year so far for sport in Hackney with our younger residents bringing home the highest-ever number of medals for the borough at the London Youth Games recently.

The Hackney Sports Awards recognises sportspeople of every age group so I would encourage people to get nominating and help celebrate all the outstanding talent we have here.
Cllr Jonathan McShane, Cabinet Member for Health, Social Care and Culture, Hackney Council

To nominate, fill in the form on the Council’s website, or download it and post it to Leisure & Physical Activity Team, Hackney Service Centre, 1 Hillman Street, E8 1DY, by Friday, 18 September.
