Nominate now for Hackney Homes Residents Awards
Hackney Homes is calling on residents to recognise people and projects who make a difference in the community by nominating them for an Active Residents Award.
To nominate visit www.hackneyhomes.org.uk complete a form in your local neighbourhood office or call 020 8356 7845.
There are four categories to choose from – Community Project of the Year, Young Resident of the Year (under 25), Resident of the Year and the Ron Devoti Award for Long Service to Hackney.
Previous winners include Marie Miller, Chair of Lordship North Tenants and Residents Association (TRA) who received the award for Resident of the year.
Of receiving the award Marie said: “It was really nice to get an award and celebrate with all those who have helped to make our achievements possible. In a way, it was like we were all acknowledged. Our TRA projects have continued to bring those on our estate closer.”
It is always a pleasure to hear about the incredible work done by our residents. These awards are a great way to recognise the unsung heroes who do so much for those around them and who make Hackney such a great place to live.
All short listed residents will be invited to a special awards ceremony where the winners will be announced.
The deadline for nominations is Monday 8 December 2014
