Housing Options Day 30 September at Ocean

ARE you thinking of moving house, and need help finding a new home? If so, come along to Ocean, at 270 Mare Street, Hackney, on 30 September.

Residents will be able to find out about buying a home, renting privately, shared ownership, sheltered housing, a rent deposits scheme, Choice-based lettings, mortgage advice and much more at Hackney Council’s Housing Advice and Options event.

Advisers will be on hand to answer questions about different housing options available, and residents will also be able to get advice on issues such as domestic violence and hate crime, drug abuse, and benefits.

Cllr Nargis Khan, Cabinet Member for Community Services, said: “Hackney has a responsibility not just to its tenants but to ensure everyone in the borough is decently housed. This is why it is important that residents in Hackney attend this event to find out more about services available to them, whether you have a social landlord or are privately renting.”
