Have your say on Millfields Park revamp

Millfields

Hackney Council is asking residents to have their say on some key improvements works that will be carried out at Millfields Park.

Pathways, entrances, the play area and the old paddling pool will be subject to a £700,000 revamp by the Council later this year.

A presentation will take place in Millfields on Saturday (19 July) and proposals will go on display at Clapton Library, Northwold Road, and Homerton Library, Homerton High Street, until Saturday, 26 July.

Cllr Jonathan McShane, Cabinet Member for Health, Social Care and Culture, Hackney Council
The views of our residents and stakeholders are valuable to the Council and we want to ensure that what is provided in the park is what people want for their community. It is important to get views from local people who use the park now and who will use the park in the future.
Cllr Jonathan McShane, Cabinet Member for Health, Social Care and Culture, Hackney Council

Improvements will also be made to fencing and park furniture.

You can take part in the consultation by:

• Attending the presentation near the play area in North Millfields on Saturday, between 12pm and 5pm.

• Completing the online questionnaire

• Emailing your comments to silvera.williams@hackney.gov.uk
