To celebrate the festive season, Hackney Council will be hosting a pop-up cinema at Hackney House BL-NK in Shoreditch to show Disney Pixar’s family movie ‘Inside Out’ on 22 December.

The Council has teamed-up with elevenfiftyfive to show the free film screening of one of Disney Pixar’s newest animated movies ‘Inside Out’, which tells the story of 11-year-old Riley who goes on a fantastic journey with five emotions - Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust - after she moves home to a new city because her dad gets a new job.

The comedy is certification U and will be shown at the Hackney House BL-NK venue, located on Curtain Road, with doors opening at 3.00pm and the film screening starting at 3.30pm. If young people dress up in their favourite festive outfit they will receive a free treat on arrival.

Cllr Guy Nicholson, Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Hackney Council
The annual Make Hackney Sparkle film is a fabulous way for families to celebrate the festive season. ‘Inside Out’ has everything you would want in a movie - a great story with lots of amazing characters. It's sure to be popular so don’t delay in booking your free tickets and get the kids down to Hackney House BL-NK.
