Free family fun at Hackney Museum this summer

If you’re wondering what to do with your children this summer, Hackney Museum has activities that will keep them busy!

Throughout July and August the council run Hackney Museum is holding a series of free hands on activities aimed at children aged 5 and over. However, families of all ages are welcome to join in and take the opportunity to look around Hackney Museum and its child friendly exhibitions.

Six year old Alyssa–Joy Baker who recently took part in Comic Strips and Animations workshop at Hackney Museum said: “I loved drawing my cartoon and watching it spin round and round in the zoetrope.”

Sherica Baker, her mum, said "It was really nice to get involved with something Alyssa–Joy is interested in and do something together as a family“ .
