Exercise for All

Low-cost fitness classes at the heart of the community.

Do you live in Hackney and want to get fitter and healthier?  Then come and join a fitness class at New Kingshold Community Centre, 49 Ainsworth Road (off Well Street).  There are a variety of exercise classes for all ages and abilities.  Arsenal in the Community run a Youth Club on Mondays and Thursdays, and there is street dance and Muzena Capoira available for FREE for all children and young people.  Pilates, Box Fit and Zumba are available for adults and all are a great way to get fit.

A new session for badminton and table tennis enthusiasts has just been added to the timetable on Monday afternoons between 12pm and 5pm. As well as a ballroom dance class on Wednesdays from 2pm to 5pm.

The classes have already attracted lots of happy exercisers. One mother whose children attend the Children's street dance said "My daughter loves it. The teacher is funny and mingles with the kids, they love picking up the rhythm and the dances he makes up. They want the class to be more frequent and to last longer."

Other people who have attended reported losing weight or dropping a dress size and that they were sleeping better and woke up in a better mood.

The first taster session for all classes is FREE and are only £1.00 per session thereafter.

Download the timetable above and get involved.
